Ever gone out on our course at Sportsman's and found out that you couldn't get your swing just right until you played the 4th or 5th hole? Well, you know what the problem was. Next time, be sure to start out by warming up on our practice range before you play. And of course, you'll want to stop by for a little extra ball-hitting in-between rounds as well.

Sportsman's Country Club offers one of the most comprehensive practice facilities and learning centers in the entire Chicago metropolitan area. Our driving range is lighted for evening use and is a golfer's haven. You can work on your shots from sunrise to 9:00 p.m. during golf season.

Plenty of laser-measured targets provide the look, feel, and feedback that add better focus to your practice sessions. There are 33 stalls with mats to eliminate overcrowding. We also have future plans to build covered stalls.

-Purchase a four-digit PIN code to type into the machine, available at the Range House or the Sportsman’s Clubhouse;

If you're looking for a chance to work on your short game extensively, try our Anetsberger par-3 course on Techny Road. Regular yardage lengths on the nine holes at Anetsberger range from 95 to 190 yards, and new short tees have been added. These range from 60 to 120 yards and offer a great way for children or even the beginner adults to get started in the game of golf. And this course was renovated just a few years ago as well so it's in tip-top shape.
